Prime Minister Narendra Modi lit the traditional first lamp at Raj Ghat on Monday in the occasion of Dev Deepawali in Varanasi along with state Chief Minister Yogi Adiyananth. About 15 lakhs Diyas were lit up on the ghats of Ganga.
PM Modi is visiting his parliamentary constituency Varanasi on the occasion of Dev Deepawali and Guru Nanak Jayanti and inaugurated the six-lane widening project of Handia – Rajatatalab (Payagraj and Varanasi) section of National Highway 19.
The Ghats of Varanasi is arranged with flowers and the red carpet for The visit of PM Modi. lots of artists had created beautiful rangolis and coloured pots.
