Poet and lyricist Ramesan Nair passed away. He was 73. Ramesan Nair was undergoing treatment for Covid19.
More than 500 songs Ramesh Nair has penned for movies. He worked as a sub-editor in Kerala Bhasha Insitute and producer at Akashavani in the initial days of his career. Ramesan is a recipient of the Kerala Sahitya Akademi award 2010, Vennikkulam Memorial Award, Kendra Sahitya Akademi award 2018 for his collection of poetry Gurupournami.
