On March 18, The International Film Festival of Kerala began.

There has been some confusion about how grand the fest can go about it. If the government refuses to allocate total seats in the theatres, attendees would hardly be 3750 seats. The number of delegates will drastically reduce. However, if full hearts are allowed, about 7500 seats will be available, which means around 9000 delegates can be seated for the festival.

The event organisers are hopeful that by March the covid situation will be better and can bring that lost glory of festive joy. Around 108 films are ready; apart from Nishagandhi, the eight-day film festival will be held on 14 other screens.
