Legendary playback singer Lata Mangeshkar passed away. She was 92. After testing covid-19, she was hospitalised to a city hospital early this year as she had been diagnosed with pneumonia.
The veteran singer was lovingly known as the Nightingale of India. She started her career in music at the age of 13. She has her credit of 30000 songs in different languages.
Mangeshkar is a receipt of Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan, Bharat Ratna and officer de la Legion d Honneur.
