Athirappilly soon to reopen after 10 months of the shutdown. The tourist centre has become digital. visitors have to book online entry.
Tourists will have 5 shifts in Athirappilyy, starting at 9 am. At a time 200 persons are allowed to visit. About 1 hour 30 minutes a batch can spend. The system is conceptualised based on the covid protocol.
Visitors have raised suspicion by stating 1.5 hours is not sufficient to enjoy the waterfalls completely. While visitors are also not allowed to enter the river.
