Venmani village all set to go digital

Now the Venmani village at Kerala’s Alappuzha district goes digital.

The Federal Bank is going to install a digital payment system for taxies, auto rickshas.
This initiative is part of the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) scheme. All shops and drivers of auto-taxi will have a training session on the use of point of sale machines and Bharat QR code.

Beside The Federal Bank, an Aadhaar Seve centre will be launched at Venmani to facilitate Aadhaar registration and correction. Many other social initiatives such us loans, solar street lights, e-library, Wifi hotspot smart boards, water dispensers, tree plantation drive are some of the programs being sponsored by the bank as their village adoption project.
