Trains to go silent by year-end, to run on overhead electric supply

Trains go silent by year-end. Indian Railways decides to run on power drawn from an overhead electric supply system. One of the two power cars will be restored with LHB second Luggage, Guard and Divyaang Coach, they are uniquely designed cabin with six seats reserved for differently-abled persons and additional 31 chair car travellers and more language space, officials stated. There will also be a standby ‘silent’ generator car for emergency purpose.
