Tovino Thomas has contributed Rs 12.5 lakh to Mathrubhumi’s ‘Snehabhumi’ project which pursue to construct houses for landslip victims of Wayanad.
He handed over a cash cheque to Mathrubhumi Joint Managing Director MV Shreyams Kumar on Friday.
The project targets to purchase land and construct houses for 100 families of Puthumala ni Wayanad. Secure land which is not prone to natural calamities will be bought for the 100 families.
“I planed to cooperate with Snehabhumi project as I found it gives quick benefit to the people. As a part of society, we are obliged to align to support the people who succumbed their houses in the flood. I really believe many people with positive intention would join the project. I’m really happy to be part of this project. Stated Tovino Thomas
Kochi customs also donated Rs 1 Lakh to the project. Customs recreation club is taking a key role to raise more fund for the project.
