On Sunday, the government extended the nationwide lockdown until May 31. The revised lockdown guidelines have more relaxations than in the past.
Activities include of domestic and international air travel, educational institutions, metro rail services, restaurants and hotels, cinema halls, wimmin pools, malls, gym and religious and social gatherings of all kinds are prohibited and established to remain shut.
Interstate travel of people on buses and cars are permitted as long as two neighbouring states agree to allow.
Restaurants can operate kitchens for home delivery food.
About 50 guests can gather for a wedding and not more than 20 can attend funerals. Worship areas remain close.
Movement of people is allowed between 7 AM to 7 PM.
Salons and barber shops, public transport (expect metros) and e-commerce business can resume across India unless prohibited by a state or a UT. Offices can run with a third of the staff attending st the workplaces to reopen with full capacity. However, it is highly advised to adopt work from home as far as possible.
