This year regular classes will begin on June 1st in Kerala. The classes will be online from 9 PM to 4 PM. Grade 1 and grade 11 is exempted from online classes.
Online broadcast classes will be through Victers platform. This will be available on television and internet devices such as computer or smartphones. The local self-government institutions will support for another facility to attend online classes.
Each day will have 7 periods. Detail timetable is yet announced.
The teachers’ post classes can evaluate the learnings with students through Whatsapp group to clear doubts. Chosen classes will be frequently aired during night hours. The IT Mission is creating half-an-hour modules each subject classes.
Based on lockdown extended further implantation will be announced.
Meanwhile, the CM Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday stated that the school admission procedures in Kerala for the academic year 2020-21 will start on May 18. Students and parents can reach the school under the general education department by following COVID protocol and process admission. The KITE will soon accept online admission as well. Study materials, model question sheets along with exam guides will soon be distributed.
SC/T community of students who are preparing for class 10, 11, and 12 located near hill ranges or coastal areas will have exam training centres. About 200 exam training centres will be established.
