Indians likely to have protein deficiency

Recent reports show, protein deficiency have been very common among Indians.

There is a lack of awareness of the importance of protein deficiency. Most of them believe proteins are for bodybuilders and that cutting on protein is a way of losing weight.

According to the Market Research Bureau (IMRB) about 73 per cent of urban citizens is having protein defective with 93 per cent of them are lacking the daily protein requirements.

Proteins are essential at all stages of life, it is one of the fundamental intakes that support for our daily development.

Good source of protein comes from milk, meat, eggs legumes and pulses. The quantity and quality of protein work to the best based on each individual’s amino acids and digestibility.
