Former Chief Election commissioner Tirunellai Narayana Seshan took his last breath on Sunday morning in Chennai.
He was 86.
He had been an icon of Indian bureaucracy for leading in tectonic betterment in the country’s electoral method during his title in his nineties.
Hailing from Palakkad, T N Seshan retired 1955 batch of Indian Administrative Service officer of Tamil Nadu, led Election Commission from 1990-1996.
