Actor Deepika Padukone reaches the campus and expresses solidary with students of JNU. The actor joined students who were protesting recent violence at the campus.

Almost 18 students were injured and hospitalised at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). The left dominated JNUSU and the ABVP criticised each other for the violence that lasted for closely two hours.

Deepika earlier had addressed on Sunday’s violence at the JNU campus in an inter to NDTV “I feel proud noticing that we aren’t frightened to express ourselves… I think the fact that we are imagining about the country and its future… Whatever may be our intent of view.
