After 30 years ‘Baltic Way’ Hong Kong protesters form Human chain across cities. Hong Kong’s pro-democracy demonstrators last night conceived human chains across large parts of the city in a call for direct elections in a display that recalled a major anti-soviet demonstration from 30 years ago.

Participants of the human chain, after months-long protests over the suspended extradition bill, allowed crminal suspects to be extradited to mainland Chain for prosecution, spread across three routes figuring 20 miles over obtusely populated sections of Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories, The NY Times stated.

The plans conceived instantly through a spreadsheet published online this week after a march on Sunday drew thousands who demonstrated in the rain, a sign that protesters had been prevented by a police ban from the Chinese Government.
