Puducherry Temple authorites noticed on Thursday a beggar outside the temple premises possessing of 12, 000 INR cash, a bank account of 2 lakh to her credit and an Aadhar card.
The beggar is identified as Parbatham (70), stated that she earned the funds by seeking reliefs from the devotees touring the temple. Her husband passed away 40 years ago, since then she has been on the streets of Puducherry. From the last eight years, she was been survived by the food offered by the temple authorities and by unknown people.
Currently, she has been moved to her relatives’ house in her village and is under the responsible of her brother.
